About the Role
We are seeking an Account Manager for our Corporate responsible for the achievement of individual sales quota both in new sales and renewals by capturing the customers’ needs and providing the best solution from all Elsevier solutions for the customers. Expected to contribute to the Regional/Global Corporate team/Company sales and revenue targets. The main industries in the territory are High-tech market, Chemical and material science and corporate market.

Responsibilities

Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts that may include major strategic customers within a geographic or industry focus.Identifies, develops and typically closes new sales opportunities.Creates demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers.Achieves revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account.May conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies.Plans own territory or account approach and monitors resources while working within overall sales plan developed by manager.Typically responsible for products/services or territories/accounts that have moderate complexity. May train new team members and provide input to employee performance evaluations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience5 to 10 years direct sales/marketing/business development/customer interaction experienceDirect sales experience to corporate R&D environment and specific industry knowledge(high tech - semiconductor, fuel cell, automotive, electro materials, patent… etc.Experienced in strategic account planning; can connect the dots within customers’ organizationExperienced in working in an international matrix organization - strong communication and collaboration skillsProficiency in business English with the ability to communicate effectivelyThose who are not disqualified from traveling abroad(for men, those who have completed military service by the date of join or have been exempted)
