About the role Our Account Manager will work on the Research Intelligence portfolio, which includes technological tools and cloud software to support scientific research and decision-making in academic and governmental institutions. The role involves technology and software sales, focusing on client relationship management, business development, and maintaining renewals. Responsibilities: + Develop and maintain relationships with academic and governmental institutions in the region, from Ecuador to Mexico. + Ensure customer satisfaction and manage renewals of existing contracts. + Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Research Intelligence portfolio. + Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives. + Present and demonstrate products to potential and current clients, highlighting their benefits and applications. + Frequently travel to visit clients in the region. + Work closely with other teams and managers within Elsevier to ensure alignment in strategies and business objectives.
