About the team The Research and Intelligence team collaborates with prominent research and funding institutions to optimize resource allocation, refine collaboration processes, and elevate the overall efficiency of research efforts. About the role Our Account Manager will work on the Research Intelligence portfolio, which includes technological tools and cloud software to support scientific research and decision-making in academic and governmental institutions. The role involves technology and software sales, focusing on client relationship management, business development, and maintaining renewals. Responsibilities: + Develop and maintain relationships with academic and governmental institutions in the region, from Ecuador to Mexico. + Ensure customer satisfaction and manage renewals of existing contracts. + Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Research Intelligence portfolio. + Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives. + Present and demonstrate products to potential and current clients, highlighting their benefits and applications. + Frequently travel to visit clients in the region. + Work closely with other teams and managers within Elsevier to ensure alignment in strategies and business objectives.
