Job SummaryThe Inside Sales / SMB role focuses on selling company products and services to new and existing clients remotely via phone or digital channels. The primary goal is to grow revenue through retention, cross-selling, upselling, and managing renewals for small to medium-sized businesses.
Key Responsibilities:Act as a trusted advisor by building strong client relationships.Manage the renewal process for small to medium businesses.Proactively protect existing accounts, identify at-risk clients, and implement retention strategies.Drive revenue growth by identifying new business, win-back, and cross-sell opportunities.Recommend and implement process improvements and modern solutions for clients.Collaborate with Solution Sales to develop accounts and achieve revenue targets.Assist customers with contract issues, usage queries, and invoice disputes.Communicate value propositions effectively through a consultative sales approach.Maintain accurate records in CRM software (e.g., SFDC) to support forecasting.Perform additional duties as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:5+ years of experience in inside sales, renewal sales, or sales support with a strong track record.Proven success in B2B sales and account management (preferred).Results-driven, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.Ability to manage opportunities throughout the sales pipeline.Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., SFDC) and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong phone presence with active listening, negotiation, and closing skills.Knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ownership mindset—be proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative.Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
