Account Manager - Mobile Gaming

We are looking for a Mobile Gaming Account Manager who is passionate about managing, maintaining and growing relationships in our newly formed Gaming Advertising Solutions business line, Quests. We are seeking a client services-focused team player who can leverage their expertise in digital advertising to help mobile game companies market to the players who are most passionate about their games.

You will harness your prior experience in advertising, media, or digital marketing and bring a combination of relationship building, analytical insights, and an ability to win, optimize and expand a recurring book of business with clients. You will report into the Director of Sales, Gaming Advertising Solutions and support the West region.

What you'll be doing

Drive overall client success and own responsibility for the performance of advertising campaigns for mobile gaming clients Manage day-to-day communications around clients and their accounts both internally and externally Provide quantitative and qualitative reports to drive continuous improvement, optimization, and innovation for key accounts and earn repeat business Work with the Sales team and cross-functional colleagues including product, marketing, operations, and data science to ensure client success and achieve defined KPIs Execute on strategy that supports organizational goals, become an expert in Discord solutions and adapt recommendations to suit varying client needs that creates win-win situations for both Discord and its partners Build strong relationships with clients, understand their businesses and upsell based on campaign KPIs and performance

What you should have

3+ years experience as an Account Manager in advertising, media, or digital marketing with quota-carrying responsibility Mobile gaming industry experience (1+ years) OR strong background in mobile app marketing including experience with app user acquisition, retention campaigns, or mobile performance marketing Strong understanding of mobile measurement landscape including experience with MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch), mobile attribution, and app conversion tracking Mobile campaign expertise - experience with mobile advertising platforms, app install campaigns, and managing performance marketing (CPI, CPA, ROAS) objectives Analytical and data analysis skills with ability to derive actionable insights from mobile campaign performance data Strong storytelling and presentation abilities - can communicate campaign performance and optimization recommendations effectively to clients Understanding of mobile advertising formats, buying tactics, and campaign optimization strategies Technical aptitude for troubleshooting mobile campaign issues and problem-solving Willingness to travel for regional in-person client meetings

Ideal background includes

Experience working with mobile gaming clients across hypercasual, casual, mid-core, or hardcore gaming categories Background in mobile user acquisition, retention marketing, or mobile app growth

Bonus points

Experience with mobile DSPs and programmatic mobile advertising Deep knowledge and usage of Discord Mobile gaming industry network and relationships Experience with mobile measurement partners (Adjust, AppsFlyer, Branch, Kochava, Singular) Team player with a sense of humor, humility and empathy

This position is US-based only. We are seeking candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties) or greater Los Angeles area (LA, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura), or who are willing to relocate to the SF or LA Areas. Relocation assistance may be available.

The US on target earnings for this full-time position is $180,000 to $202,500 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
