Account Manager - Renewable Energy

At WTW, we are seeking a full-time Account Manager to join our Renewable Energy team in Melbourne. Whether you are from within or outside the insurance sector, this is a great opportunity to learn and be mentored by our senior brokers and to start a new career with WTW.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients in the renewable energy sector, ensuring that their risk management and insurance broking needs are identified and met. You will also be assisting the team in all aspects of client servicing of an existing book of Construction and Operational business.

 

The Role

Represent the voice of the client both internally and within teams when decisions are made regarding process, approach, and future strategy. Respond to client claims inquiries, providing advice when required. Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, clients, and other key stakeholders. Effectively manage and grow a portfolio of clients, ensuring that their risk management and insurance broking needs are met. Leverage best practices from across WTW to deploy within the business. Ensure all sales processes are compliant with the WTW Excellence Model and local regulations. Actively participate in new business activities and prospecting, and help to build out growth propositions. Ensure adherence to the Client Excellence Model (CEM) and WCS principles. Accurately prepare client documentation. Assist the team in managing larger clients’ insurance, risk management, and programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Maintain comprehensive client data on WTW systems, facilities, and databases. Contribute to individual and team annual new business targets, ensuring they are met. Ensure pipeline accuracy and quality are maintained on a regular basis. Manage debtor collections in accordance with the terms of trade. Ensure that premium funding is offered to all clients. Achieve and maintain compliance with the Financial Services Reform Act Tier 1.
