UFP Site Built is the leader in designing and manufacturing value-added wood and non-wood products for the construction industry. We offer a wide variety of wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel structural components.

The Account Manager is responsible for the sale of roof and floor wood component sales and services by developing and maintaining customer contacts within the Birmingham, Alabama, Huntsville, Alabama and surrounding areas.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer baseIdentify customer needs and solve problemsUnderstand and perform cost savings analysis for customersGenerates new sales by promoting product line to new and existing customersTroubleshoots problems for customerQualify customers’ creditworthinessMonitors sales market in assigned regionPrepares various reports as requiredAccounts receivable managementMonth-end inventory participationPerforms other duties as required

​QualificationsPreferred bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related areaMinimum of 5 years of experience in relevant building material sales, selling roof and floor trussesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applicationsPreferred manufacturing background, but not requiredPreferred experience and knowledge on UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines

Compensation
Salary Pay Range dependent on experience, geographical location, commission structure, and cost of living adjustments. Variable compensation may be available.
