This is a field based sales role which will be ideally suited to a candidate based in the Norfolk/ Cambridgeshire area within the UK.
The Account Manager for Sleep and Respiratory Care (SRC) will be responsible for maximising order intake, sales, prices realisation and customer satisfaction whilst developing and optimising the customer relationship in order to ensure the long term profitability in the defined number of accounts.
You will work within the SRC Sales team, working daily with marketing, operations and finance stakeholders to explode the business within your territory.
Within this team, you will have the opportunity to grow and progress within the direct sales team, or the wider Philips business, across a commercial, technical or managerial pathway.
Your responsibilities
Accountable for maximising order intake, sales and price realisation at the assigned accounts within the territoryExceed area sales, and gross profit targets agreed with the CompanyEnsure continuity of the relationship with the accounts and operates at multiple levels in the accounts’ organisations, but also facilitate the executive level interfaces between company and the accountsPrepare the annual account plan in line with the regional strategy and execute at territory levelContribute to the development and implementation of local marketing strategiesResponsible for filling the funnel management tool and systematically analysing win & loss deals, expectations, customer satisfaction, market, competition and trendsResponsible for the sales forecast at the assigned accountsTake product responsibilities as directedParticipate in relevant exhibitions or local eventsAssist in training other team membersLead the account teams, organise the necessary actions and make sure the required results are met in timeCollaboration with channel partners where requiredCoordinate all internal necessary resources to obtain objectives and where necessary involves others where necessaryEnsure quotations are completed and delivered within time limitsEnsure that completed quotations are based on a solution / configuration compliant to specifications validated by the Business, and it is properly reviewed by Operations for feasibility and accuracy prior to being issuedEnsure any third party product included in the solution and not part of the catalogue is properly validated for compatibility / compliance of specificationsResponsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality Standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner If and when required provide dedicated support to assigned accounts to ensure timely collection of Accounts ReceivableConstantly extend the customer baseTake on additional project responsibilities when requestedReport back competitor activity and business opportunitiesCarry out ad hoc projects as required.Your team
You will report into the Sales Leader for SRC and work alongside Account Managers for SRC within other regions.
This position will be field based, spending 80% of your time working across the Norfolk area, with the remainder of your time working from home.
We are looking for
Experience in a sales role in Healthcare and B2B environment ideally working with large contractsExperience working with the NHS in some capacity is essentialExperience within respiratory care or sleep servicesA clinical background would be beneficialPreferably relevant technical or clinical experienceStrong natural sales instinctExcellent communication skills.A drive to succeed and exceed the sales targetsValid driving licencePlease note this role will be require a full DBS check.
