As an Account Manager - Utilities/Renewables for Electrification business, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. Reporting to Marketing and Sales Manager and Commercial Leader, you will be coordinating sales activities, monitoring current projects, and managing the resolution of specific customer problems. The position is based in Parañaque City, Philippines.
Your responsibilitiesLeading the development and implementation of the account plan and statement of Work (SoW) growth actionsUnderstanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment and interprets the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABBParticipating in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current business and long-term plans of the customerDefining and proposing sales targets for the account and ensuring their achievement through a structured follow-up process across divisions and countriesSelling products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets, representing ABB overallCreating added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g., frame agreements, sales planning, and issue resolution)Monitoring competitors’ activity with the account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implementedDriving application of standardized marketing and sales processes and tools (salesforce, account plans, etc.) for the account
Your backgroundTertiary or degree qualifications in engineering (preferably licensed electrical engineer) / commercial qualification or recognized equivalentPreferably more than 5 years of experience in utilities / renewables field of sellingDeep knowledge and understanding on the market intelligence on utilities / renewablesComputer literacy and competent in using SAP (preferable), MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project Salesforce are essential and other sales and tendering toolsExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skillsGood communication skills and assertive business acumen
