ACCOUNT RECEIVABLE COORDINATOR

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Weatherford is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator (Part-Time) to help manage customer collections through the Weatherford GetPaid system. The successful candidate will organize, plan, and execute collection strategies to meet and exceed targets. Key responsibilities include managing customer collections to achieve collection targets, liaising with internal and external customers, proactively identifying and escalating payment disputes, and working with Invoicing and Product teams to resolve issues.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly cash collection targets for Australasia, which includes Australia, New Zealand, and PNG. Maintain and update customer details in GetPaid including contact information, disputes, and Promise to Pay dates. Escalate customer disputes in a timely manner to find resolutions and minimize the impact on payment due dates. Follow up with customers regarding payment dates via phone, email, and customer visits. Work closely with Job Coordinators and WSC to ensure invoices are successfully transmitted and accepted, and payments are allocated to the correct customer/invoice. Proactively participate in improving DSO by ensuring payments are received when due. Submit requests for account creation and account changes into the routing system. Process credit applications for credit facilities through the routing system.

 

SKILLS

At least 3 years accounting experience Ability to influence people at all levels within the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working in heavy industries is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. Experience using JDE and GetPaid. Sound organizational and time management skills. Advanced Excel skills are preferred.

 

MOBILISATION

3 days a week Malaga, Perth Immediate start preferred.
