The Account Relations Manager is responsible to build and maintain relationships with health plan clients and revenue cycle operations for MHS. This position will play a key role in organizing and conducting Payor Escalation meetings with health plans that will support and ensure maximum collection of account receivables with over twenty health plans representing approximately $800M+ in receivables.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred. Years of experience must be in the areas of managed care, government programs and account relations. Must have a broad knowledge of program management principles; Must have a strategic mindset as well as be able to lead and develop internal and external teams; Proven analytical skill in assessing issues and escalating appropriately; Must have strong critical thinking skills In-depth knowledge and understanding of current healthcare industry issues and trends Knowledge of federal and state Medicare, Medicaid and relevant guidelines, regulations and standards; Effective communication (verbal and written) and strong relationship building skills. Position will interact with internal and external executive teams; Experience in Microsoft Office programs
