Hexcel is currently seeking an Account Representative for our Pottsville, PA, USA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Providing direct line of support to customer(s), as the key point of contact for the customer/supplier relationship. Interact with appropriate manufacturing department for customer and drive changes to customer orders. Communicate shipment delays to customer(s) due to credit related issues, and adjust orders as needed.

Utilize customer electronic systems (Portal systems) as necessary to identify customer demand and update Hexcel backlog commitments to respective customers.

Responsible for assembling information provided by various departments to support RFQ’s, RFP’s and entry of POs received from customers.

Coordinate lead-time and availability with production planning, verify product specification and approval for manufacture and sale of material(s), adhere to contractual agreements, and ensure appropriate price is utilized via review of contract, historical, or confirmation with Product Manager.

Maintain electronic files for order activities per Customer Service procedures. Ensure any sales and/or business updates are communicated through PM/Forecast Analyst. Follow-up with customers to quoted materials and forecast requirements and supply feedback to management in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred.

Minimum 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excel in a cross functional team.

Microsoft Office Proficiency - specifically in Word and Excel.

Prior ERP experience is preferred.
