Account Solution Architect
We are looking for an Account Solution Architect to join our client’s enterprise sales team. In this role, you will be a key technical advisor, helping clients navigate business challenges by recommending and implementing enterprise solutions. You will work closely with sales and technical teams to understand customer needs and align them with a range of solutions, including Linux-based platforms, cloud computing, containerization, and automation technologies. Your expertise in open-source technologies and enterprise IT environments will be critical in driving customer success.

This remote role is based in the Chicago area and focuses on supporting clients in the western region. You will play a vital role in building relationships, designing tailored solutions, and demonstrating the business value of cutting-edge technologies. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience as a solutions architect, sales engineer, IT consultant, DevOps engineer, or a related role within enterprise accounts. Strong ability to assess and interpret business and technical requirements Expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and complex system architectures Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills, with a track record of building relationships across technical and executive teams Advanced knowledge of Linux or UNIX Environments, with experience in enterprise Linux platforms, provisioning, and configuring management tools Hands-on experience with automation technologies such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef Familiarity with hybrid cloud infrastructure and management solutions, including KVM, VMware vSphere, AWS, GCP, Azure or OpenStack Strong understanding of security, identity management, clustering, and directory services Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and enterprise container platforms like OpenShift Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed Desired Skills & Experience Experience designing and presenting business cases and ROI analysis for technology investments Knowledge or financial or enterprise compliance requirements related to IT infrastructure Prior experience working with large-scale enterprise clients Understanding of networking, storage solutions, and infrastructure automation Exposure to automated testing tools and frameworks. What You Will Be Doing Partnering with the sales team to develop and recommend tailored enterprise solutions that align with customer needs and business goals Leading customer meetings, presentations, and lvie demonstrations to showcase technology capabilities Designing and implementing enterprise architectures that optimize performance, security, and scalability Developing detailed technical specifications and overseeing implementation strategies Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through the adoption of Linux, cloud, and automation technologies Providing technical insights and best practices to ensure successful deployments and long-term customer satisfaction Collaborating with internal teams to share insight, contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, and enhance solution offerings.
