Description Robert Half is looking for an organized and customer-focused Account Specialist to support growth and efficiency located in San Diego, CA. This role involves managing client accounts, ensuring accurate accounting transactions, responding to inquiries, and collaborating across teams to provide exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: + Manage and maintain accurate records of client accounts, transactions, and payments. + Process invoices, payments, and adjustments in compliance with company policies. + Track outstanding payments and proactively follow up with customers as necessary. + Reconcile account discrepancies and provide resolutions in a timely manner. + Monitor account activity for accuracy, reporting anomalies or variances. + Prepare financial reports related to account activities on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. + Assist with onboarding new accounts and maintaining accurate client profiles in account management systems. + Support compliance efforts by ensuring all data adheres to financial regulations and company standards. + Respond to customer inquiries regarding account status, payments, and changes. + Collaborate with Sales, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable teams to ensure seamless workflows. Requirements + Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. + At least 1-3 years of experience in accounting or account management roles. + Proficiency with account management systems and/or accounting software (such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP). + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and reporting functions). + Advanced certifications (e.g., CPA) or industry-specific certifications are advantageous. + Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. + Strong communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and teams. + Proactive problem-solving skills to resolve account issues efficiently.
