Account Specialist
Job Title: Account Specialist Job Description The Enterprise Special Services (ESS) team is growing rapidly and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to improve the shipper experience for vendors and sellers who ship with Inbound Transportation. As our client continues to drive innovation within transportation and logistics, we consistently evaluate our current network shipper defects and drive improvements through shipper coaching and performance management. In this role, you will work directly with shippers to create solutions and take action to improve shipper performance metrics. Responsibilities + Monitor, verify, and present data daily. + Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time. + Identify transportation defect root causes. + Maintain daily logs on assigned shippers. + Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers. + Lead Daily Business Review Stand-up calls. Essential Skills + Account Management + Customer Service + Excel proficiency + Problem-solving + Logistics + Supply Chain Management + Project Management + Transportation + Data Analysis Additional Skills & Qualifications + Good relationship building skills + Effective organizational skills + Strong communication skills + Experience managing disruptions + Supply chain technical skills + Experience in industries such as party planning, event coordination, real estate, sales, or restaurants + 2 years of logistics, supply chain, or related experience preferred + Understanding of basic data analytical skills + Experience writing documents on topics such as process improvement proposals + Entry-level knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with Excel spreadsheets Work Environment Hybrid work schedule: 3 days a week in-office and transitioning to 5 days in-office starting January 2025.
