Account Strategist, Mid Market Sales

Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
+ Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as needed.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Experience in advertising sales, media account management, and achieving goals to drive client growth.
+ Experience working with and communicating with advertisers, agencies, or clients and influencing C-level stakeholders.
+ Experience with consulting or digital marketing executing multi-quarter strategies.
+ Knowledge of Google Ads and traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics.
+ Ability to strategically assess and solve client needs via sales techniques, including questioning, objection handling, and to leverage data to uncover insights to support proposals and analyze impact.

+ Manage a portfolio of businesses and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
+ Establish credibility with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders, and serve as a trusted consultant to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
+ Structure a joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
+ Understand business growth drivers and risks and create multi-quarter plans to achieve growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
+ Develop data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
