GENERAL SUMMARY
The Account Supervisor for platform products and interactive tools on Lexus.com plays a critical role in both the agency’s and our clients’ businesses, leading web development initiatives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects. The position is vital to advance innovative digital products that support our client’s business, specifically in leading enhancements and infrastructure sustainment to Lexus.com. This will include multiple projects happening simultaneously, oftentimes with complexity or dependencies on other partners. Must be able to focus on the business needs of the client, and seek and articulate agency perspective on recommended solutions that contribute to ideas in support of the clients’ goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
**Overall:**
+ Actively support and uphold digital team goals of delivering quality, acting transparently and driving innovation.
+ Develop and uphold strong relationships built on trust, respect and authenticity. Consistently provide clear communication and create space for open and direct dialogues and sharing of ideas with the business.
+ Partner with digital production, delivery (PO), strategy, creative/XD, analytics and development teams to achieve clients’ goals on web development, digital tools and platform products.
+ Partner with other digital account team members to ensure cohesion and brand consistency across Lexus.com and throughout the Lexus’ digital ecosystem.
**Client Management:**
+ Maintain daily contact and build relationships with clients at multiple levels and key business partners.
+ Create clarity around client expectations and objectives early in all work, communicate throughout, and ensure clients’ perspective and goals are represented in project execution.
+ Play a substantive role in major presentations to clients, including project planning and selling creative and technical solutions.
+ Provide guidance to clients, assisting them with any aspects of digital marketing. Be willing to engage clients on difficult issues and navigate tough conversations adeptly.
**Project Progress and Management:**
+ Define project parameters, deliverables and business requirements in collaboration with clients and key internal team members when kicking-off a project.
+ Collaborate with xD, creative & strategy teams regarding project strategic direction and integration. Ensure execution phase upholds strategic direction and client priorities.
+ Create clarity around client expectations and objectives early in all work, communicate throughout, and ensure clients’ perspective and goals are represented in project execution.
+ Manage ongoing client communication – both verbal and written – to ensure expectations are met regarding project progress, approvals, timing, schedules and dependencies.
+ Encourage collaboration and consultation efforts with appropriate stakeholders and subject-matter experts throughout the concepting and development process.
+ Know when to pull in team members who may not be in the day-to-day of a project to provide their expertise on a given subject.
+ Operate in an agile process, being part of a scrum team to continuously improve products in an iterative approach. Step in as the voice of the business and communicate accordingly when Clients are unable to attend scrum ceremonies.
+ Oversee upcoming workload of project pipeline and be able to holistically understand impact across other projects.
+ Account for project scope and production budget support.
**Continuous Platform Improvements & Success Sharing:**
+ Participate in and gain full working knowledge of project metrics and business KPIs.
+ Understand metrics evaluation, both success and supporting metrics.
+ Work with strategy and analytics to develop platform goals, tactics and KPIs to set achievable enhancements to platform roadmap.
+ Stay aware of platform success metrics and identify what action needs to be taken to optimize performance.
+ Communicate platform updates, enhancements and impact for education and greater visibility internally at Team One. Connect with team members who work on the Lexus business who could benefit from a greater understanding of digital innovative efforts.
+ Support creation of materials, like case studies, to externally share success stories as needed.
Experience: 5- 7 years digital experience required, including at least 1 year of website or platform development. Automotive experience is a plus.
Education: A bachelor’s degree is required.
Skills and Abilities: Must have a clear understanding of website development and experience working in an agile approach. Platform, infrastructure and data-dependent enterprise system experience is preferred, but not required. Must have exceptional presentation skills as well as excellent analytical skills. This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style.
