Account Support Associate or Senior Associate

EY focuses on high-ethical standards and integrity among its employees and expects all candidates to demonstrate these qualities. **Location:** Charlotte The Account Support Associate (ASA) team specializes in “end-to-end” project management services offered at various levels within the firm’s client service space, to benefit the account and engagement teams, as well as its business process operations at the market segment, region, and America’s leadership levels. **The opportunity** As a Senior Associate ASA you will function as an essential and integral member of a client engagement team or regional team. Similar to other client engagement team roles, the Senior ASA is expected to maintain a high annual client-chargeable utilization and productivity. The essential functions of a Senior ASA are highly complex in nature resulting from alignment to large G360 accounts, portfolio of multiple accounts in varying sizes, or working alongside service-line or region leadership. Specific activities may vary based on the needs of the engagement, account, or service-line / region. **Your key responsibilities** + Active participation and contributions to executive meetings, from building agenda to action items/milestones management + Increase cost efficiencies for the account teams resulting from skillful facilitation and enablement of offshore (GDS) resources + Identify project risks and opportunities for process improvement + Work to manage stakeholders expectations, project plans, and communications providing updates as needed + Oversee engagement hours, budgets, estimates, fees, billings and works in process and works with Financial Management Associate to resolve any issues + Collaborate with account team, business development, and resource management + Coordinate risk management processes such as engagement letter's, client continuance, independence, family tree, pre-approval, and other regulatory activities. **Skills and attributes for success** + Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations, concurrent projects, and prioritize multiple tasks and competing deadlines + A strong executive presence with listening, influencing, and excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to proactively manage upwards + Excellent presentation skills with ability to summarize essential information for executives + Strong organization, analytical/math, attention to detail, prioritization, project management and client service skills + Effective delegation and time management skills, including ability to supervise offshore (GDS) resources + Solution oriented; address all relevant information/data and develop practical solutions + Strong critical thinking skills with creative and curious approach to tackle complex challenges, leveraging internal tools and resources to achieve favorable results + Strong knowledge of service line and engagement, and of the firm’s structure, key personnel and organizational policies/procedures **To qualify for the role, you must have** + Strong data analytics skills + Strong organizational, project management and customer service skills. + Good attention to detail + Excellent written, communication and presentation skills + Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience **Ideally, you’ll also have** + Minimum of 5-7 years in a related field + Prior direct client service or project management experience + Excellent listening and influencing skills + Self-motivated, work independently, adept in fast-paced changing environment **What we look for** We’re interested in knowledgeable professionals ready to take ownership for spotting trends and improving our processes. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $56,600 to $102,700. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $67,900 to $116,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
