Job Description:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct monitoring of field level activities to ensure that activities are performed in accordance with the work plan and proposal

Monitor the Food/Cash distribution activities regularly to ensure the activities are in accordance with work plan and proposal and to ensure to be in line with standard.Monitor the work completed in Food for Work projects to ensure that work norms are being met as planned. Make recommendations for changing of work norms or ration sizes if necessary.Monitor attendance at Food for Training and Food for Education to ensure records are being accurately kept.Visit vulnerable group beneficiaries to ensure they have received the correct entitled amount of food/cash.Monitor the storage of commodities in the warehouse to ensure that they are being kept at the appropriate standard.Ensure there is no overlap between beneficiaries from each initiativeEnsure the complaint response/feedback mechanism is functioning for accountability and compile, gather the information regularly and share with relevant supervisors and donor.

Ensure the paper works are done and documented in line with the organizational requirement

Conduct monthly physical count of commodities in warehouse to verify quantities.Ensure beneficiary cards are completed accurately and kept by the appropriate person.Ensure all paperwork associated with distribution, work and training is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintains good networking with the staff, community and government authorities

Ensure working with team spirit among the teamMobilize the staff members and community members to be responsive of their assign dutiesPersuade the staff to do according to Food Program's guidelineParticipate as a team with a corrective action by using M&E tools

Support the management with reporting problems and suggesting solutions

Report all discrepancies to the Area Manager and National Office in a timely manner,Suggest possible courses of action to be taken to fix the problemsSubmit weekly and monthly reports to the Project Manager in a timely and accurate fashion.

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

At least 2 years’ experience in MEAL area and previous experience in actual food/cash aid program implementationBachelor’s degree or Other graduate degree with similar role for more than 2 years' experience is essentialKnowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, fax and e-mailKnowledge of project cycle, and understanding of design, monitoring and evaluationGood knowledge of English and Computer aptitudeComputer literate and have high skills of information sourcing and gathering including internetAbility to train staffs and non-staffs in all aspects of M&EExcellent knowledge of local context and organizational cultureExcellent interpersonal skillsAble to follow and enforce guidelines accuratelyKnowledge of Humanitarian Industry BasicsAbility to work as a teamResponds promptly in a professional manner
