General Summary:

Qualcomm Government Technologies (QGOV) provides transformative, trustworthy, mission-focused wireless solutions and services designed to improve our government’s capabilities.  QGOV is seeking a professional for a key accounting and compliance role in QGOV Finance. This position will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Finance responsible for federal government, corporate, and accounting compliance, and will provide critical support to QGOV’s accounting and government compliance team, and to the broader QGOV FinOps team. A successful candidate will look to apply accounting, finance, and auditing principles in their day-to-day activities, requiring strong cross-functional engagement within the division to help accomplish key compliance and business initiatives.

Specific accounting responsibilities will include but are not limited to, revenue recognition analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, quarterly reporting schedules, billing/accounts receivable, and inventory accounting. Specific government compliance responsibilities will include but are not limited to, reviewing, testing, and monitoring key internal controls and internal audits, assisting with various government compliance deliverables (Incurred Cost Proposal, Forward Pricing, etc.) and supporting government audit requests. In addition, in a broader support role there will be responsibilities to assist QGOV’s project finance function which involves financial oversight of government funded programs through their contract life cycles, both pre-award and post-award.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Industry and/or public accounting firm experience4+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experienceCPA, with audit experienceExperience including U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, government cost accounting, manufacturing/inventory accounting, and SOX controlsGovernment regulatory knowledge with CAS, FAR, DFARAptitude for financial systems and reporting, including Oracle, HFM, TM1, Costpoint, SharePoint, Tableau, in addition to Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointAdaptable and flexible to changing business environments, experience working in a global matrixed organization

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$79,200.00 - $118,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
