About the position: This is a traditional accounting role for a commercial property management company. Ideal applicants will have some commercial real estate accounting experience and be comfortable with accrual-based accounting. Experience using Yardi is strongly preferred but not required. Assist with general accounting month-end closing, Review general ledger accounts and P&L statements to prepare required accruals/prepaids/etc. This role works closely with the property management team to prepare monthly and quarterly reports. Assist with the annual operating, and capital budgets. Assist in analyzing lease and loan documents. A degree in accounting/finance is strongly preferred. We will consider advanced bookkeepers or CPAs with real estate accounting experience.
