Job Summary:
• Compute, classify, record and reconcile numerical data to keep financial records complete
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) processing (heavy AP data editing involved)
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) processing (includes posting large quantity of AR data, as well as regular contact with branches)
• Handle Cash Management processing (wire transfer processing, web banking, bank reconciliations, etc.)
• Handle of Fixed Asset / Lease Asset (IFRS) processing (FAS system, preparation of addition / disposition, reconciliations)
• Prepare various reports and work papers every quarter for external auditors
• Handle sales tax audit and property tax audit with state governments
• Book and investigate costs / inventories every quarter
• Check accuracy of figures, calculations and posting pertaining to transactions recorded by branches
• Prepare and file government reports
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Other accountants’ duties as required to support on-going business needs and cross-training initiatives
Qualifications:
• College graduate and Accounting major required
• +5 years’ experience in the related accounting work
• Experience in full cycle accounting experience
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Excellent Microsoft Office computer skills required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Critical and analytical thinking skills required
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Dependable work ethic
• Organized and thorough
• Customer service oriented and able to catch on quickly
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• CPA (Preferred)
