Responsibilities As a Contract Corporate Accountant, you will: + Sales Tax Compliance: Prepare, reconcile, and file sales tax returns to ensure compliance with state and local regulations + Corporate Licensure Management: Oversee and maintain the company's corporate licensing requirements, ensuring all filings and renewals are completed accurately and timely + Fixed Asset Accounting: Perform fixed asset reconciliations, maintain accurate records of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation schedules, and ensure compliance with company policies + General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting Requirements Qualifications To succeed in this role, you’ll need: + Proven experience in sales tax, corporate licensure, fixed asset management, and general ledger accounting. + Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems + Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. + Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams across various departments. + Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
