Description Robert Half is currently seeking an Accountant in the Middlesex County, NJ area. As an Accountant, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities including handling the general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and more. If you have 5+ years of experience as an Accountant and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, this be the opportunity for you! Responsibilities: • Monitor and evaluate program revenue and expenses to maintain accuracy and compliance. • Prepare financial statements for review and submission. • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions. • Conduct audits and reconcile balance sheet accounts to uphold financial integrity. • Utilize accounting software systems and ERP tools to streamline financial operations. • Collaborate with the finance team to improve workflows and reporting processes. • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making by leadership. • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
