Job Description

Participate in all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations, and month-end/year-end close processParticipate in all financial reporting throughout the company utilizing Sage Intacct, Excel/SQL and Tableau based reporting, reconcile account balances and review GL activityAssist with daily, weekly and monthly management of bank transactions, cashflow reporting, customer payments and other treasury-related functionsMonitor and manage daily cash balances to ensure sufficient funds for operationsDevelop and implement cash management strategies to optimize liquidityPrepare and analyze cash flow forecasts for short-term and long-term planningOversee the timely and accurate execution of all treasury transactionsReconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepanciesManage inventory counts, analyze and resolve book to actual inventory differencesAnalyze and lead monthly review of financial results for various geographical areasServe as a Regional Accounting Lead to provide accounting support for day-to-day transactionsCollaborate with Operational Leaders as well as the Executive Team on various projects as neededDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance with GAAP principlesEvaluate best practices and identify opportunities for process improvements and efficienciesEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies

Skills & Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, CPA not requiredMinimum of 3+ years of experience in corporate or public accounting environmentIn-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), familiarity with ASC 842 Accounting Lease Standard preferred, but not requiredSelected candidate should have supervisory experience and be a natural leader capable of motivating othersAdvanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables to reconcile and analyze reports and data setsExperience with an ERP or accounting system preferredExperience with inventory and accrual accounting, sales/use and excise taxes preferred, but not requiredDemonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and handle multiple competing prioritiesProblem solving, project management and analytical skills requiredMust be self-motivated and able to work independently, while also work well with othersHighly detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize time managementFamiliarity with Tableau and other tech-enabled tools is a plus but not required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $48.08/hr.
