Caterpillar’s Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD) has an open Accountant position for the Global Logistics Procurement group (GLP). In this role, you will provide insights and analysis of financial reporting for the GLP group as well as support reporting of carrier freight rate impacts. You will work closely with peers within the Global Procurement team as well as business resources contacts in the enterprise.
What You Will Do:
Provide meaningful insights into period cost trends for forecasting decisions and analysis. Integrate carrier freight rate guidance into the enterprise inbound freight forecasting process as part of the XP&A framework (Project Oasis).Leverage understanding of carrier freight rate structure in designing the enterprise outbound freight forecast process as part of the XP&A framework (Project Oasis).Collaborate with global procurement leads to dollarize carrier freight rate changes by mode.During forecasting cycles, collaborate with Logistics business resources to develop carrier freight rate updates by mode for global business resources contacts.Be a trusted business partner to business leaders within GLP and business resources.Create and utilize automated tools to drive efficiency to support scale of the business functions and accurate financial results.What Skills & Experiences You Will Need:

$95,640.00 - $143,520.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
