Kratos has an opportunity for an Accountant with the following job responsibilities: + Prepare and enter journal entries for month-end close + Prepare month end reconciliations for general ledger accounts and investigate and resolve variances as needed + Responsible for recording and preparing intercompany invoices and confirmation of balances between entities + Assist with preparing financial reporting + Support fixed asset additions, disposals, depreciation, and physical counts + Assist with tax schedules and support to corporate tax team as needed + Contribute to the implementation/conversion of the accounting system + Ability to effectively interact with members of the accounting team, operational teams, sales and executive management as necessary + Assist accounting team with other daily and/or month end duties + This role calls for a well-rounded performer who thrives in a fast-paced, demanding environment Required Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Preferred Skills and Experience + Up to 2 years of Accounting experience preferred + Proficient in MS Office Suite with emphasis on Microsoft Excel + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail + Experience using Deltek Costpoint + Experience in project accounting or government contract accounting #LI-Hybrid, #LI-Onsite The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
