Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient accountant who will be responsible for managing and optimizing our financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and the ability to work collaboratively with our team to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Responsibilities

Perform general ledger account reconciliation.Resolve aging balances on the balance sheet.Optimize manual processes and day-to-day operations.Research discrepancies and document findings accurately.Collaborate with team members to address large balances on balance sheet accounts.Assist with external audits and new account reconciliations.Ensure efficient and accurate documentation of financial activities.

Essential Skills

Knowledge of basic accounting principles.Experience with general ledger account reconciliation.Ability to research discrepancies and document findings.Detail-oriented and efficient operational accounting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation.Proficiency in month-end processes, invoicing, and financial reporting.Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables.Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and fixed asset management.Understanding of tax accounting, debits and credits, profit and loss, and property accounting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.50/hr.
