If you're ready for a career that offers more than just a paycheck, join us at Foth.Primary Responsibilities:Project Management: Oversee the financial setup and ongoing management of projects within our ERP system, Deltek VantagePoint, with a keen eye for detail and compliance.Client Contracts: Navigate the complexities of client contracts, ensuring Foth meets all invoicing and contract acceptance standards.Federal Projects: Lead the charge on managing federal grant-based projects, ensuring adherence to all guidelines and requirements.Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the Business Manager to identify and implement strategies for operational excellence.Financial Reporting: Work closely with the central Finance and Accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting for the Business Unit, in line with GAAP standards.Project Support: Assist project managers by providing financial analysis and insights to drive project success.Leadership: Direct our team of Accounting Analysts, ensuring financial accuracy and integrity in support of our project managers and clients.Billing and Payments: Ensure timely and accurate billing and payment processes, in accordance with contract terms.Expense Oversight: Approve and manage member expense reports, maintaining fiscal responsibility.Proposal Assistance: Contribute to the development of cost estimates for client proposals, ensuring competitiveness and accuracyRequired Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting roles, demonstrating a progressive career in financial management.Technical Skills: Experience utilizing complex financial formulas and solving related issues in Microsoft Excel.Preferred Qualifications: Software Proficiency: Experience with Deltek VantagePoint software, enhancing our project management and financial tracking capabilities.Project Management Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft's project management tools, such as SharePoint and MS Project, is advantageous.Contract Skills: Ability to contribute to contract preparation and review, ensuring that all financial aspects are clearly defined and in Foth's best interest.Experience: Previous accounting experience in the consulting or engineering field.All Foth Companies are equal opportunity employers and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
