Tasks and Qualifications:The Accountant is going to:
Manage accounting activities (general accounting, account receivable and account payable, reconciliations, and reporting activities)
Manage the monthly closing activities, liaising with all relevant stakeholders.
Supervise the activities of our external service center
Support the Finance Manager in the daily finance activities.
Maintain administrative procedures with insurance companies, banks and other external stakeholders.
Collaborate with EMEA Finance Team
Actively take part and lead internal and third-party audits.
Prepare financial statutory accounts to review with auditors.
Liaise with the tax advisor for tax declarations and forms (direct and indirect)
Prepare and review data with tax advisors for transfer pricing.
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
At least 5 years of experience in finance/accounting or in a multinational context
Experience in roles that require process improvements and delivery of results
Knowledge of IFRS standards in a project environment
Proven knowledge of corporate tax related topics
Good knowledge of SAP ERP tools. Knowledge of SAP S/4Hana is a plus.
Good command of English and Italian
Able to work in team with people on site and remotely.
Able to take the initiatives autonomously.
Able to review, analyze and summarize complex data
Strong reporting and presentation skills.
Very good communication skills and ability to work autonomously on defined tasks.
