Are you an accounting professional with a passion for payroll and a knack for numbers? Foth looking for a talented Accountant to join our dynamic team! In this role, you’ll collaborate with dedicated colleagues, lead crucial audits, and ensure our financial processes run smoothly. If you’re ready to make a significant impact and grow your career in a supportive and innovative environment, we want to hear from you!Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with our payroll team to ensure seamless biweekly payroll processing, stepping in as backup support whenever needed. Audits and Audit Support: Take charge and be the go-to person for internal and external payroll-related audits (401k, Work Comp, DOT, etc.). Be a key player in company audits, including Retirement Plan and Financial Statement audits. Act as the primary contact with outside auditors for General Liability insurance and Workers Compensation audits.Close with Confidence: Participate in the period-end closing process, tackling various tasks alongside our accounting team.Journal Entry Master: Prepare monthly and annual standard journal entries with precision.Reconciliation Expert: Keep our books balanced with monthly and annual general ledger account reconciliations.Compliance Champion: Conduct analysis and provide support for Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, DOT, and other compliance needs.Expense Manager: Oversee the accounting for company travel and expense reporting processes.Cash Flow Guru: Support daily posting of cash receipts and resolve discrepancies.Vendor Relations: Assist with vendor setup and maintenance.Survey Specialist: Participate in completing governmental or industry surveys as required.Required Qualifications: Education: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similarly related fieldExperience: Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting roles, demonstrating a progressive career in financial managementTechnical Skills: Prior experience in general accounting and payroll Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Software: Experience with Deltek VantagePoint All Foth Companies are equal opportunity employers and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
