Major Activities
Reconcile and analyze various general ledger account balances and recommend to management appropriate action to be taken, if necessary.Prepare and enter various general ledger journal entries for month-end closing.Record bi-weekly payroll into the general ledger and process monthly accruals, when necessary.Provide analysis for various payroll related variances.Research questions and issues that arise relating to information contained in the monthly financial reports.Interrelate with other departments to resolve issues as they occur.Prepare and complete special projects as needed.Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education
Bachelors or Master's Degree in AccountingMinimum Special Certifications or technical skills
Proficient in ExcelMinimum Type of experience the job requires
0 to 5 years of accounting experienceExposure to U.S. GAAP and SOXPreferred Special Certifications or technical skills
CPA or CMA preferredPreferred Type of experience the job requires
Experience with Oracle Financials or other large ERP desiredApplicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
