About the team:
Our APAC team is comprised of experienced accountants who work diligently to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective internal control process, and compliance with local statutory regulations for the regional entities under Sabre Group.
What you’ll be doing?
As an Accountant in our APAC Controllers team, you will managing general accounting processes for the Asia Pacific region. Your responsibilities will include:
General Accounting: Manage cash accounting and bank reconciliations for the regional entity.Monthly Journal Entries: Prepare and support month-end close activities in the APAC region.Prepare monthly JV equity accounting for investment in Associate and JV under Sabre APAC, the regional company.Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Prepare and review balance sheet accounts following corporate guidelines and timelines.Reconciliation Documentation: Provide explanations, calculations, supporting documents, and schedules for reconciliations, including GST/VAT accounts.Maintain Lease Accounting schedule for offices in APAC and provide support to the local accounting team on lease recognition.Maintain Fixed Asset schedule for APAC entities and partner with Corporate Fixed asset team on fixed asset matters.Issue Identification: Identify system and process-related issues and escalate them to the right stakeholders.Process Improvement: Find opportunities for continuous improvement, such as clearing open items and restructuring projects.Special Projects: Assist the Manager or Director with other tasks and special projects as assigned.What's in it for you?

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, ACCA, or equivalent.At least 5 years of relevant experience in month-end reporting and statutory audits.Strong Microsoft Excel skills.Experience with Finance modules in ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.Understanding of intercompany elimination in Group Consolidation processes.Experience working with multiple foreign currencies.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.High emotional intelligence and ability to work under pressure and ambiguity.Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls.Nice-to-Have Skills:
