As an Accountant with Caterpillar Building Construction Products, you will independently perform accounting functions which require preparation, analysis, and communication of issues of normal to high complexity. This role is a great opportunity to gain experience supporting two operational teams at North Carolina facilities. Accountant will review and analyze information, provide commentary to facilities leadership and work on projects to support efficiency and lean cost structure.
What You Will Do:
Inventory analysis and forecastingExecute Inventory Dollar Accuracy (IDA) and Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA) programsMonthly closing and trial balance supportAd hoc project work, supporting standardization & lean reportingCollaborate with cross functional teams and support a strong internal controls environmentWhat You Have:
Education: This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance and 2+ years of experienceAccuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.Additional Info:
