Description Job Overview: We are seeking an entry-level Accountant to join our dynamic commercial real estate brokerage company. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial real estate and will be comfortable with various accounting tasks, including handling invoices with title companies and dealing with 1099 contractors. The accountant will be tasked with understanding and implementing fundamental accounting principles, such as debit, credit, and AP/AR management. Experience with Sage 300 Timberline is preferred. Responsibilities and Duties: Processing invoices and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable Accurate and timely processing of transactions Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures Manage and maintain financial systems Analyzing accounts and business plans Dealing efficiently with financial paperwork and procedures Qualifications: Degree in Accounting or related field Experience with commercial real estate Ability to multitask and manage various projects simultaneously Strong technical understanding and adaptability Proficient in Sage 300 Timberline Understanding of accounting principles (AP, AR, debits, credits) Key Skills: Highly organized and competent Able to take initiative and display ownership of tasks Professional and tactful communication skills Able to adapt to and work well with a variety of strong personalities Ability to multitask and stay organized Demonstrated ability to get things done in a timely manner Knowledge of fee splits and dealing with percentages Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $20 per hour Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required • Mastery of BlackLine software is highly desirable • Familiarity with Concur software is needed • Working knowledge of CRM systems is a must • Ability to handle all Accounting Functions proficiently • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary • Auditing skills are crucial for this role • Knowledge of Budget Processes is essential • Capital Management skills are highly valued • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
