We have an opportunity for an Accountant to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of various financial related reports.
You will:
Reconcile various Balance Sheet accounts to General Ledger Identify and execute process improvements across multiple tasks in the finance process. Forecast and present to leadership Develop, recommend for approval, implement, monitor, and maintain and distribute accounting plans, procedures, and policies. Work closely with month end closing activities. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions to the General Ledger Perform month-end account reconciliations with accuracy and on a timely basis. Provide proactive analysis and support to the finance team. Ensure that relevant internal control requirements are met and comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act Ensure that the company meets or exceed Federal, State, and Local governmental laws, ordinances, and regulations in all areas of responsibility. Audit your own performance and be proactive in setting your own objectives and standards of performance.Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting 2 or more years of professional accounting experience Advanced Excel capabilities Have an analytical mindset. Be a clear, accurate, and effective communicator. Have experience utilizing a large ERP (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards…) Have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from finance leadership.Be flexible and be able to work under time constraints and deadlines.Compensation:
For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61,200- $113,600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
