The PositionManaging the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements according to German/ Philippine Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and fiscal/tax rulings.Lead  compliant application of local government regulations,  tax rulings,  and  compliance standards in close coordination with different workstream in GBS Center (GBSC).Responsible for all areas related to general ledger accounting such as, but not limited to Subsidiary Ledger and General Ledger reconciliation, preparation and review of accruals/provisions, bank reconciliation, and all manually created journal entries.
 Duties & Responsibilities:Oversee monthly and yearend close processes, including journal entries are  appropriately documented and reconciliations of accounts are reviewed.Jointly perform management and statutory reporting requirements with GBSC.Provide support  during local tax audits in coordination with GBSC Tax teams and in consultation with tax related advisory services. Monitor and analyse local/global tax related developments and assess the possible impact on the business, providing insights and counsel in key business planning decisions.Assist with Financial, Internal and Tax audits.Monitor and ensure adherence to internal company controls relevant to role.
 Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, Certified Public Accountant is a must.An expert in the field with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience. Experience in the conduct of local authority tax audit is an advantage.Strong functional and good business acumen. Strong technical skills in systems and tools.Strong process and analytical thinking, especially ability to understand and work on complex controlling, business and tax/finance related topics.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to senior leadership and stakeholders.Team player and strong collaborator.Ability to prioritize work under pressure and deliver to agreed deadlines.Thoroughness, accuracy, and attention to details in all aspects of work.Highly motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
