Description We are offering a contract-to-hire opportunity for an Accountant position in Denver, Colorado. The role plays a critical part in the financial operations of an investment management firm operating funds across multiple countries. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, assisting with payroll processes, and providing support with various accounting operations. Responsibilities • Accurately maintain the general ledger and organize financial records for both domestic and foreign entities. • Perform account reconciliations on a monthly basis to ensure accurate financial records. • Assist in the processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. • Participate in month-end close processes, including the preparation of journal entries and financial statements. • Process accounts payable and receivables with precision and efficiency. • Provide necessary documentation and support during financial audits and tax preparation. • Collaborate in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts as required. • Undertake administrative tasks related to general office management. • Participate in special projects and other duties as directed by management.
