The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records, preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Main responsibilities include: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records by reconciling general ledger accounts Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for management review Conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance with accounting standards Preparation of annual budgets and forecasting reports Preparation of quarterly tax assessments and bi-monthly VAT returns Preparation of annual tax and audit schedules Provide guidance to the Finance Team on day to day transaction queries Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights Staying updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations Contributing to the general team objectives by undertaking projects and assisting with related functions Fostering a collaborative team culture while promoting diversity, equality and inclusion About you University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Professional Qualification – ACCA or equivalent will be an asset Minimum 5 years accounting experience with at least 2 years at a Supervisory level Proven track record of success in an accounting/finance environment Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office Suite We value inclusion and diversity Inclusion and diversity (I&D) is a core part of our business, and it’s embedded into the fabric of our organization.
