RESPONSIBILITIES

Support month end process which includes finalizing accounting entries, reconciling P&L and Balance sheet figures within deadlines. Analyze month on month variancesResponsible for accounting processes and tasks- GL, Revenue, Fixed assets and InventoryCoordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities (billing and reconciliation)Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements and statutory tax filing requirement, internal and external auditsEnsure that accounting records are thoroughly maintained in preparation for independent auditsCoordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents and government authorities where requiredPrepare accounts reconciliation and follow-up/resolve open items for specified tasksWork closely with Shared Services Centre to manage A/P and staff claimsMaintain adequate and current documentation of internal controlEnsure that all processes and decisions are in line with IQVIA SOPs and local legal requirementsReview and provide recommendations on an ongoing basis to automate/improve existing financial processes and implement new processes where opportunities existParticipate in or manage Finance related projects as neededWhere applicable, ensure appropriate communication with all business partners and support business partners in financial decisions, if requiredMaintain a solid working knowledge of technical accounting skillsMay assume overall responsibility for small size legal entity or regional tasksPerform other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ AccountingMin. 5-8 years’ experience in relevant experience in MNC. US GAAP knowledge is preferredKnowledge of General Ledger accounting with experience in passing journal entries and preparing account reconciliationsKnowledge of fixed asset and inventory accountingExperience in dealing with external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretaryAble to prepare audit schedules and draft statutory financial statementsAble to prepare GST, tax schedules and tax computationExperience in dealing with shared service or outsourcingKnowledge of finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as PeopleSoft, Hyperion and Power BIKnowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsStrong Technical accounting, analytical and numeracy skillsAbility to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actionsAbility to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlinesMaintain an inquisitive attitude/mind towards routine tasksEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersWork Location - Alexandra (Hybrid mode)
