Description Job Opportunity: Intermediate Accountant in Honolulu (QuickBooks Focus) Robert Half is partnering with a confidential client in Honolulu to find a skilled Intermediate Accountant to join their team on a direct-hire basis. As an Intermediate Accountant, you will play a key role within the financial operations team, reporting directly to the Controller. Key Responsibilities: Oversight of accounts payable processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Perform detailed and timely bank reconciliations. Manage month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries. Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed. Continuously evaluate and streamline processes for improved efficiency and accuracy. Handle QuickBooks-related tasks with precision and expertise. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of four years of accounting experience, ideally with a focus on payables and reconciliations. Proficiency in QuickBooks is required. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an office environment.
