Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AR Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, conducting data entry, managing accounts receivable (AR), and assisting with general ledger work. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices accurately and in a timely manner.Conduct data entry tasks to ensure financial records are up to date.Manage accounts receivable functions, including reconciliation and reporting.Assist with general ledger work and month-end closing processes.Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.Support the accounting team with accounts payable tasks as needed.Essential SkillsExperience in accounting, including accounts receivable and reconciliation.Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, particularly Great Plains or similar software.Strong understanding of month-end and year-end accounting processes.Proficient in financial reporting and bank reconciliation.Excellent use of Excel spreadsheets.Additional Skills & QualificationsAn Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred, or equivalent work experience.Comfortable navigating multiple files and computer programs in a paperless office environment.Flexibility, positivity, and professionalism in an environment with fluctuating priorities.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Willingness to work extra hours as needed, primarily during audits, month-end, and year-end.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hr.
