Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Tucson, Arizona, in the CPA Firm industry. The role is for an Accountant who will be primarily involved in various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of financial activities within the workplace. Responsibilities: • Utilize QuickBooks for various bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments • Maintain precise and current financial records for clients, adhering to accounting standards and regulations • Generate and scrutinize financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements • Oversee payroll processing and associated tax filings • Conduct account reconciliations and month-end close procedures • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred • Proven experience in accounting or relevant role • Proficient in Account Reconciliation • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Knowledgeable in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experienced in conducting Bank Reconciliations • Strong understanding and experience in Bookkeeping • Able to perform Data Entry tasks efficiently • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Experience in Month End Close procedures • Ability to manage Payroll responsibilities • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must • Excellent analytical and numerical skills • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
