Accountant

We are seeking an Accountant to join the Collaboration Accounting team at Regeneron. You will be an active member of the monthly and quarterly close processes, with a high focus on accounting for our revenue generating agreements, and will also be responsible for preparing and analyzing various expense and balance sheet account analyses. This position will provide exposure to a variety of unique and high-volume transactions, and will give you the opportunity to be a key contributor in interpreting and accurately accounting for financial transactions.
**_This role is based at our Corporate Offices in Sleepy Hollow, NY (hybrid work, 3 days onsite / week) It is not open to fully remote work_**
As an Accountant, a typical day may include the following:
+ Preparation of journal entries, supporting schedules, account analyses, and various expense schedules
+ Working directly with the Finance team to ensure completeness and accuracy of accruals and reclasses and / or quarterly reconciliation of accounts receivables.
+ Responsible for preparation of P&L and Balance Sheet flux explanations for Management
+ Ensuring compliance with documented Accounting Policies and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls
+ Participating in monthly and quarterly meetings with internal and external parties
+ Facilitating audit requests with external and internal audit teams

To be considered for this role you must possess a Bachelors Degree with Internship(s) and 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience. High proficiency with Microsoft applications is required. Experience with financial applications is preferred. Technical accounting relating to US GAAP, and its application to tasks at hand preferred.
