Description We are in search of an Accountant to become part of a team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. As an Accountant, your main role will be to handle various accounting functions, process financial transactions, and ensure the accuracy of our financial records. You will be working in the non-profit industry, providing essential financial services, and contributing to our mission. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Undertake Accounts Receivable duties, ensuring all incoming funds are accurately recorded • Handle Accounts Payable, verifying all outgoing payments are correctly processed • Manage invoicing tasks, making certain all transactions are correctly documented • Perform bank reconciliation tasks, ensuring all financial records are accurate • Oversee month-end closing processes, confirming all financial activities are properly accounted for • Handle payroll duties, ensuring all staff payments are processed accurately and timely • Utilize Accounting Software Systems for efficient financial management • Conduct Auditing tasks to maintain financial accuracy and compliance • Handle Balance Sheet Account tasks, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and up-to-date. *Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.
