Responsibilities: * General Ledger Maintenance: Accurately record all financial transactions in the general ledger, including sales, purchases, payroll, and overhead costs * Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements * Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely filing of all Mexican federal and state tax returns, including IMSS (Social Security) and IVA (VAT) * Maquiladora Specific Compliance: Maintain detailed records of import/export transactions, including customs documentation, to comply with maquiladora regulations * Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper recording of inventory transactions * Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud * Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts * Auditing Support
