About the Role

Maintain the integrity and accuracy of transactions in the general ledger, in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures, under Greek GAAP and IFRS and ideally  USGAAP, internal accounting policies, and local legislationPrepare tax returns, analyze tax regulations, , and complete tax reportsCommunicate with tax authoritiesOffer support and guidance during audits,Show commitment to the adoption and continuous improvement of the function in alignment with Group’s procedures, and practices.Build strong business interaction and communications with internal customersContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededPerform daily and monthly reporting related tasks including financial statements preparation     Perform diverse and non-routine accounting functions of a complex nature     

About you

University Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting is desirableMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience within the payments industry would be beneficialIn-depth knowledge of tax laws and advanced level of Greek GAAP, and IFRS.CIMA/ACCA/IFRS/ACA Certification would be a plusExcellent command of the Greek/ English language (both written and verbally)Tech Savvy, proficient in MS Office.Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to quickly adjust to shifting priorities, multiple demands and changeStrong problem-solving and skills and hands on approachHighly organized, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to multi taskStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical skillsAbility to stick to time constraints
