Accountant Ponca City, OK (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=2200+N+Ash+St+Ponca+City+OK+USA+74601) Description OVERVIEW Cadrex is searching for an experienced Accountant to assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Processes AP/AR and assist in reconciliation + Verify and complete payment of invoices associated with AP/AR + Assist with month and year end closing process including preparing journal entries + Reconcile balance sheets accounts monthly + Maintain and reconcile inventory/cycle counts. + Process remote check deposits + Enter biweekly payroll journal entries to general ledger + Assist with annual audit/tax data requests + Other duties may be assigned as needed + Weekly AR collections + Assist in accounts payable and receivable reconciliation + Verify and complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable + Assist with month and year end closing process including preparing journal entries + Reconcile all bank accounts monthly + Maintain and reconcile petty cash monthly + Maintain employee credit card records and reconcile related general ledger accounts + Process remote check deposits + Monthly, quarterly and year end payroll tax reporting + Coordinate processing and distribution of W-2s and 1099 + Assist with annual audit processes and data requests + Respond to information requests timely + Ensure compliance with GAAP + Other duties may be assigned as needed Requirements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS + 3-5 years’ experience in finance/accounting required + Strong numeracy and analytical skills + Good problem-solving and time management skills + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office EDUCATION + Minimum AS in accounting, finance, or related field or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field LOCATION + Onsite SCHEDULE + M-F CADREX’S CORE VALUES + Safety first, rising to the challenge, collaboration, accountability, and doing the right thing.
