Description We are on the lookout for a proficient Accountant to be a part of our team. Situated in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, the role's primary focus will be on tax-related tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial data. Responsibilities: • Examine financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with tax laws • Prepare tax returns and ensure they are filed correctly and on time • Develop tax strategies to assist clients with financial efficiency and tax compliance • Conduct tax research and stay current on tax law changes • Collaborate with internal teams to understand and address tax implications for the company • Provide guidance on tax-related issues to clients • Maintain up-to-date, accurate records of all tax-related activities • Address queries related to tax from clients or internal teams promptly and professionally. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification would be advantageous. • Proficiency in Tax accounting and related software. • Demonstrable knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. • Proven experience as an accountant with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role. • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to produce clear and accurate reports. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
