Responsible for applying consistent accounting principles and procedures to record and analyze financial information, maintain the integrity of the financial records, provide transparent and accurate financial information to Sr. Management, prepare accurate and timely financial reports, and ensure adherence to appropriate accounting control procedures. Collaborate with external teams such as Community Management, Capital Project Managers and Planning.

Job Duties:

Accounting functions and journal entries related to month end close responsibilities Perform daily electronic desktop deposits, maintain daily check log and weekly reporting Monitor previous day bank reporting Oversee the reconciliation process between property management software and accounting software Assist with bank reconciliation process utilizing Blackline software Subject matter expert and division point-of-contact for WellsOne employee expense report process, coding and liaison with IT Departments Support quality control initiatives; communicate division wide expense miscodes and non-policy credit card usage Assist with portfolio questions and requests from community managers Point-of-contact for collection agencies and manage the receipt of monthly payment files Oversee the security deposit reconciliation and review of Final Account Statements Review of stale dated check register for unclaimed property disposition Prepare monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations of asset and liability accounts Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed Assist with audit requests as needed Leverage technology to improve current processes Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

BA or BS in Accounting 1-3 years accounting experience, preferably in Real Estate Management Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented; self-motivated; ability to multi-task and prioritize Proficient knowledge of Excel and experience in report writing Ability to effectively communicate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across the organization

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $77,300.00 - $94,700.00

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
