This role handles assigned accounting functions pertaining to the day-to-day operations of the business. It is a complex and multi-faceted role where the incumbent needs to display strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task.

This is a high-paced role where the incumbent will experience significant demands and pressure if he/she is unable to competently manage the daily workloads and duties.

Responsibilities:

Handle the day-to-day operational accounting functions Prepare / process the following: Book of Accounts, Monthly Financial Statement, Journals, Month End report and Balance Sheet Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information Assist business with regulatory reporting requirements Maintain financial security by following internal controls Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements Prepare internal regular Financial reports to management detailing overall financial position of the the business Responsible for the compliance of annual audit requirements by preparing year-end Financial Statements supported by Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss schedules Experience with tax accounting and preparation Timely completion of work in accordance with the reporting timetables Action other tasks or duties due to business exigencies or as deemed necessary by management to achieve business goals
